J. Christine Sinclair is an international gospel singer from Stamford, Connecticut. Christine's greatest musical attribute is her vocal versatility, ranging from conservative classical to spirit filled gospel. She studied at The Kings College, Briarcliff Manor, New York; the State University College at Cortland, New York; and the University of Heidelberg Musik Hochschule, Germany. She holds a degree in vocal performance.
In addition to countless performances throughout the United States, Christine has ministered in song internationally in many countries including England, Germany, Holland, France, Malawi, South Africa, Jamaica, St. Vincent, Antigua, Grand Cayman Islands, Bermuda, and Canada. She has been featured on several radio shows in the United States, and in Europe including BBC, stations throughout Africa, and television shows including worldwide broadcasts on the Hope Channel, ACN, 3ABN, My9 TV Hope For Haiti Telethon broadcast from FOX5 Studios in NYC and local broadcasts on Gospel Today and News 12. Christine recorded on the Bobby Jones Gospel Show which airs on BET and the Word Network.
Christine won the 2009 McDonald's Gospelfest as a soloist in the Contemporary Christian Music category. The event was held at the Prudential Center Arena in Newark, NJ, and featured Patti LaBelle, CeCe Winans, Donnie McClurkin, Hezekiah Walker, Vickie Winans, Regina Bell, J. Moss, and Cissy Houston. In 2005, she was a solo finalist for the 2005 McDonald's Gospelfest held at Madison Square Garden starring the "Queen of Soul" Aretha Franklin, and Richard Smallwood. She has been featured on programs with artists such as Wintley Phipps, Walter Arties, The King's Heralds, and David Lewis (Atlantic Star). She has appeared at the World Famous Apollo Theater, Madison Square Garden and The Manhattan Center Studios in New York City. She was honored at the 2006 Caribbean Gospel Music Awards USA and presented with the Spiritual Award for her dedication to ministry in music.
Christine especially enjoys singing for crusades, retreats, camp and evangelistic meetings. She was a featured artist for the 2005 General Conference Session of Seventh-day Adventists (a Worldwide meeting of 70,000 Christians) broadcast worldwide live from the Americas Convention Center in St. Louis, MO. Christine also sang at the General Conference Session 2000, held at the Sky Dome in Toronto, Canada. She was a soloist for the worldwide NET 2004 "Experience The Power" Tele-Evangelistic event with speaker Walter Pearson of "Breath of Life" as well as "The Festival of the Laity". She is a soloist for "Pathways of Hope" Tele-Evangelistic series with speaker Dr. Abraham Jules and has sung for many "It Is Written" Television Prophecy Seminars. Christine is a Commissioner for the NAD Disabilities Ministries team. Christine is an affiliate of Morningsong Music.
